چکیده

In this paper, we study scenarios of the super-Eddington accretion onto black holes at high redshifts $z > 10$, which are expected to be seeds evolve supermassive until redshift \sim 7$. For an initial mass, $M_{\rm BH, ini} \lesssim 2 \times 10^{3} M_{\odot}$ a seed definitely need accretion, can applicable both astrophysical and primordial origins. Such disk inevitably emitted high-energy photons had heated cosmological plasma inter-galactic medium continuously from redshifts. case, cosmic history gas temperature is modified, by absorption feature 21 cm lines suppressed. By comparing theoretical predictions 21cm line with observational data $z\sim17$, obtain upper bound on mass-accretion rate as function BH masses. order realize BH} 10^9 7$ continuous consistent 17$, obtained severe mass 10^2 ($M_{\rm 10^6 M_{\odot}$) when assume its comoving number density $n_{\rm seed,0} 10^{-3} {\rm Mpc}^{-3}$ ($n_{\rm 10^{-7} Mpc}^{-3}$). We also discuss some implications for application holes.

The Cosmological History of Accretion onto Supermassive Black Holes

It is argued that supermassive black holes in the nuclei of galaxies most likely have grown coevally with their host dark matter halos. A calculation based on PressSchechter within this framework shows that the mean rate of accretion of matter onto such black holes varies from a value about 0.003 of the Eddington rate at the present epoch to a value around 0.08 at redshift 3. The bulk of AGN ev...

Spin, Accretion and the Cosmological Growth of Supermassive Black Holes

If supermassive black holes (SMBHs) are the energy sources that power quasars and active galactic nuclei, then QSO SDSS 1148+5251, the quasar with the highest redshift (zQSO = 6.43), hosts a supermassive black hole formed within ∼ 0.9 Gyr after the Big Bang. This requirement places constraints on the cosmological formation of SMBHs, believed to grow from smaller initial seeds by a combination o...

Comptonization in Super-eddington Accretion Flow and Growth Timescale of Supermassive Black Holes

Super-Eddington accretion onto black holes (BHs) may occur at Ultra-Luminous compact X-ray sources in nearby galaxies, Galactic microquasars and narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1s). Effects of electron scattering (opacity and Comptonization) and the relativistic correction (gravitational redshift and transverse Doppler effect) on the emergent spectra from super-Eddington accretion flows onto...

Growing Supermassive Black Holes by Chaotic Accretion

We consider the problem of growing the largest supermassive black holes from stellar–mass seeds at high redshift. Rapid growth without violating the Eddington limit requires that most mass is gained while the hole has a low spin and thus a low radiative accretion efficiency. If, as was formerly thought, the black–hole spin aligns very rapidly with the accretion flow, even a randomly–oriented se...
